Self-Compassion: The Missing Link In Motivation and Achieving Goals
Kristin Neff, PhD, is a Psychology Researcher and Associate Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She has been recognized around the world as one of the most influential researchers in psychology. She is a pioneer in the field of self-compassion research, conducting the first empirical studies on self-compassion nearly twenty years ago. Along with her colleague Chris Germer, she developed the eight-week Mindful Self-Compassion program, taught internationally.
Dr. Neff is the author of the bestselling book Self-Compassion and co-wrote The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook, with her colleague Chris Germer.
